HOW WILL IT ALL END? (the conclusion)
“Surely, the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)

THE THOUSAND-YEAR REIGN OF CHRIST – REVELATION 20:1-20
Unrepentant mankind’s last opportunity to repent and be saved. Zechariah 14:9: “The Lord will be King over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and His name the only name.” “He is Lord of lords, and King of kings, and with Him will be His called, chosen, and faithful followers.” (Revelation 17:14b) Revelation 20:4: “I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge (righteously): The 12 apostles (Matthew 19:28/Luke 22:30), those Christians who endure (1 Timothy 2:11-12), those beheaded during the tribulation (Revelation 20:4).

REBELLION IN THE KINGDOM
cannot be blamed on Satan: “The devil made me do it,” because he will be chained in the abyss for the 1000 years. (Revelation 20:1-3) The heart of unregenerate man will be revealed for what it is: “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can understand it? I, the Lord, search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to what his deeds deserve.” (Jeremiah 17:9-10) So the following will happen in the kingdom: “Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem, will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles (the 8-day feast to thank the Lord for His abundant harvest). If any of the people of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord Almighty, they will have no rain. This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.” (Zechariah 14:16-19)
SATAN’S LAST DECEIT—REVELATION 20:7-10
“When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison, and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand of the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city He loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Thus earth will be purged from all wickedness.
WHAT OF THE WICKED DEAD?—REVELATION 20:11-15
“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne and the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them’ and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone’s name was not written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”
THEN I SAW A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH—REVELATION 21-22
For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband, and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Read the rest of the glory to come for everyone who puts his or her faith and trust in Jesus in Revelation 21-22.) “Whosoever believes on Him has everlasting life.” Jesus says: “Behold! I am coming soon! And My reward is with Me to give to every man according to what he has done.”

THE DIRECTOR'S CORNER
We gained a new appreciation for water this summer. As week after week went by with no rain here in Illinois, we began to see the effects of it in the fields, yards and gardens: the young corn plants curling and pointing their leaves to the sky to preserve moisture .. the grass turning brown and crunching under our feet ... hoses and irrigation running overtime to try and make a difference ... the water table dropping and people worried about wells going dry. And now, when we did get a couple good rainfalls, you can almost see the gratitude in the fields and yards as worries and dryness are replaced with encouragement. Speaking of encouragement, a good example of it is taking place these last two days here at Camp. About 30 members of Salisbury Church of Charleston, IL have come along side us to operate a Vacation Bible School for our kids---complete with games, crafts, food, and love. Being encouraged motivates us to encourage. It's one of the best things about being in God's family.

"There is no God apart from Me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but Me. Turn to Me and be saved, all you ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is no other." Isaiah 45:21b, 22
