AN INVITATION TO A WEDDING IN THE SKY

The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come!
The Bridegroom (Jesus) says, "Whosoever drinks the water that I shall give him will never thirst.
Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal live." (John 4:14)
"And whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life." (Revelation 22:17)

The wedding supper of the Lamb

"Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns! Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear." (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.) (Revelation 19:6-8)

Who is the bride?

THE CHURCH: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free;
There is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28)
"Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing of water through the Word, and to present her to Himself as a radiant church (bride), without stain or wrinkle, or any other blemish, but holy and blameless." (Ephesians 5:25-27)

WE PRAY THAT YOU WILL BE AT THIS WEDDING IN THE SKY!

Lizetta's 20th great grandchild, CALEB MARSHALL WENTZLAFF, was born June 30, 2003, the 5th child of Jonathan and Trudie Wentzlaff. This is the 13th grandchild for David and Sharon Williams. We accept each child as a heritage of the Lord and thank Him for each one.

PLEASE JOIN US AT OUR ANNUAL PRAISE BANQUET

SEPTEMBER 20, 2003 3:00 P.M.

The kids from summer camp will present the musical:
ACORNS TO OAKS: PLANTED, ROOTED, AND GROWING IN CHRIST
No charge; a freewill offering will be received.

THE DIRECTOR'S CORNER

The camp is tucked away in the woods here-not really "on the way" to anywhere. So it was exciting to see, in just the last four days, a number of men go out of their way to drive here with a variety of encouragements-evidence to us of God's love in hearts and a desire to share in this ministry. Just for fun, I will list the names of the men who came, and then the list of what was brought or done and you can try to match them correctly. There just might be a prize for you.

Charlie Pastoral advice
Joe Plans for a future project
Bill Beans
Paul Sweet corn, warm smile
Brian Cement, gravel, welding, hope
Bo Time, cement work
Fred Brush pile clean up

This is just a sampling of the involvement so many of you have had here and through the mail over the years-thank you. Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." I don't know about the others, but I feel sharper and more motivated to get on the cutting edge of what God wants to do here.
