ISRAEL'S PASSOVER FEAST
The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, "This month (Abib) is to be the first month of your year. Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb for his family, one for each household. If any household is too small for a whole lamb, they must share one with their nearest neighbor. The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the people must slaughter them at twilight. Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire along with bitter herbs and bread made without yeast." (Exodus 12:1-8) "When the Lord goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, He will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and He will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down." (Exodus 12:23)

CHRIST, OUR PASSOVER IS SACRIFICED FOR US (1 Corinthians 5:7)
When John the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him, he said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29) Later Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world." (John 6:32-33) "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

THE NEW COVENANT
The Apostle Paul wrote: "For I received from the Lord what I passed on to you: the Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took bread and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, 'This is My body which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.' In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of Me.' For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes." (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
Let us remember our Savior this new year by proclaiming His death till He comes.
Jesus said, "I am coming soon!" Will you be ready or left behind?

THE DIRECTOR'S CORNER

Almost all of the children that are involved in the Camp programs throughout the year are transported here and back home by Camp vans and bus. From the very early days of the Camp it was seen as a necessary part of the ministry. Few lived close enough to walk and most of the others wouldn't consistently find a ride. It has been a large expense--we drive over 500 miles a week--but it has made it possible for many children to be taught God's Ways who might not have heard otherwise.
Apparently some parents have occasionally used our rides as a way of getting their child a free ride to grandma's house. A couple years ago I answered a call that asked, "Taxi service?" I said, "No, this is 944-5711. Is that the number you called?" "Yes," he said, "it says taxi next to that number here."
Besides the wonderful provision of vehicles and fuel over the years, God has graciously kept our people from serious accidents. A few days ago I found out one reason why. I was talking to a member of one of our local supporting churches and he said, "It might sound strange, but whenever I think of the Camp I picture your bus and pray for that." I thank him and shared some specific ways to pray.
God hears and answers your different prayers for this ministry. Thank you.
