SATAN’S DECEIT WITH WORDS
"SEPARATION" OF CHURCH AND STATE: Jesus is Lord and the head of the church. So what this really means is: "get rid of God." God made America great when we were "one nation under God." Now some are working toward a country without God. Should they succeed, they'll get more than they bargained for. "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and every nation that forgets God." Psalm 9:17
WOMEN'S "RIGHTS": to their own bodies, the right to play with sex and destroy the consequences with a pill the next morning. God says, "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body." 1 Corinthians 6:18
ABORTION "RIGHTS": should the pill or condom fail, a woman has the right to have her baby aborted, which means destroying God's creation. "For You, (God), created my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Psalm 139:13, 14
GAY "RIGHTS": "Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion." Romans 1:26-27
ILLEGAL ALIEN "RIGHTS": America has always accepted aliens who entered legally, which means they had to pass certain laws to have the rights of citizenship. Now, aliens are crossing over our borders by the thousands illegally and expecting to obtain all the rights of citizenship without abiding by the laws to enter. Romans 13:2: "The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves."
CRIMINALS' "RIGHTS": Four policemen have been brought to my attention, each one serving a prison sentence for doing their duty. One criminal was killed; three went free. God says, "Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent, the Lord detests them both. It is not good to punish an innocent man, or to flog officials for their integrity. It is not good to be partial to the wicked, or to deprive the innocent of justice." Proverbs 17:5, 26; 18:5

WHEN DID WRONG BECOME RIGHT?
In the Garden of Eden. The Lord God created Adam and commanded him: "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." So Satan came in the form of a serpent and said to Eve, whom God had created for a helpmate to Adam: "Did God really say you must not eat from any tree in the garden? You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." So Eve ate of it and gave some to Adam and he ate of it. Immediately they were separated from God. Instead of becoming "like God," they became sinners like Satan. So because sinners beget sinners, Scripture says: "As in Adam all die, so in Christ all are made alive." 1 Corinthians 15:22

BEWARE OF SATAN'S "RIGHTS"!
Wrong will always be wrong in God's eyes and in His Book of Truth, the Bible. No human legislation can change wrong to right. Only the blood of Jesus applied to our hearts by faith can cleanse us from all sins and make us "RIGHT" before God.

THE DIRECTOR'S CORNER
We have programs and activities for all ages here. We have classes and Bible studies for adults, high school age evenings, and clubs for children. But our main focus has always been on children. In our children's programs we teach the Bible, memorize Scripture, learn proper behavior, do drama and summer camps. But our main focus is leading each of these children to make peace with God and begin the changes as HIS child. In all our teaching, we must make sure we regularly invite the children to personally accept Christ’s offer of forgiveness. The following two examples remind us to faithfully keep inviting without predicting the outcome.
It was the last period on boys Awana night and the K-2nd graders were no doubt tired and hungry. I finished a lesson about heaven and ended by asking if anyone wanted to go there. The response I got from one of them was: "I don’t want to go to heaven. I want to go home." I appreciated his frankness. Another time, however, another boy was being taken home last on the route to conference with his mother about his behavior. Before getting off the van he accepted the driver's invitation to pray and receive God's gift of salvation. Pray for the boys and girls who have taken this first step as they discover the joys and costs of following Jesus.

WOMEN'S FALL RETREAT
Twenty-one women from our congregation gathered for a day of fellowship and Bible study on October 21. "From Question Mark To Exclamation Point: Finding God's Comfort in Our Grief" was the title of the day. Our theme verses came from Romans 8:35a, 38-39.

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!"
Ladies Retreat
At the end of the day, some expressed the following: "This smaller group was comforting, and I felt closeness." "Being with other people -- talking about how God is working in their lives, and praising Him were some of the things I enjoyed about the day." "I liked the encouragement, inspiration and good advice that I received from the older women who've already experienced life." "I realized that I have some of the best spiritual sisters in the world."

A Big Thank You!
